Recapitulator Use
We use the Recapitulator by placing it on a supportive surface as shown in the following photographs. We have used the Recapitulator on a chair, couch, bed, table, the floor, or simply by leaning it against our body. We then place the desired body part onto the knob end(s), pressing where the tension is greatest. We press hard enough to bring our attention to the area. The longer we continue pressing, the deeper our awareness of the area becomes. In time we can feel the continued change as it takes place.
We’ve noticed that while pressing deeply brings the greatest benefits, too much or too sudden of a pressure may put more fear and pain into the area, rather than dissipating it. In other words, we don’t want to hurt ourselves, but we don’t let the fear of pain stop us from touching the place that needs our attention the most.
As we seek out and release the stress stored in our muscles, we continue to improve our health and wellness as the years go by, gaining strength, fluidity, and balance as we age.
We use the Recapitulator while watching T.V., reading or just relaxing on the couch, in bed or sitting in our favorite easy chair. We also use the Recapitulator at work and at the gym.
